As we look back to the beginning of this business journey, armed with a hand-me-down pick-up truck, a push mower, and how-to YouTube videos, we can’t help but feel humbled and grateful. For our company, the road to lawn care has been long and winding, not random or quick. Matt, our owner/operator, studied Horticulture here at UGA, then went on to work on an ornamental tree nursery in Middle Georgia and in Northeast Georgia as a sod salesman. This green industry experience, coupled with ten years in the United States Coast Guard, and with a Business Finance degree, has given our company the strong backbone to serve your family like they were our own and care for your lawn from roots to blade.
Matt started Restoration Lawn Care, then Restoration Landscape Company, in 2015 primarily doing landscape installations and lawn maintenance. Over the years while talking to clients, we began to see a need in our area for quality and dependable lawn care. Our new tighter focus on lawn care ensures that our company is able to give the best service to our clients, treating them with the individuality and professionalism that they deserve.
Our vision from the very beginning has been to serve the Athens area to the best of our abilities and knowledge; we love her people and this area has welcomed us. We can help make Athens a more beautiful place by creating healthy lawns for you to enjoy with friends and family with responsible and dependable service and by giving back to our community. The local groups that we give back to are:
Serving foster and adoptive families
Collecting and distributing diapers to families in need
Bigger Vision Homeless Shelter
Provides meals and shelter to our homeless friends in Downtown Athens
